Cette espèce se rencontre en Colombie, au Panama, au Costa Rica, au Nicaragua, au Salvador, au Honduras, au Guatemala, au Belize et au Yucatán et au Chiapas au Mexique, [1].

C'est un serpent venimeux[1].
