Cette espèce est endémique du Kerala en Inde[1].
Systématique et taxinomie
Cette espèce a Ă©tĂ© dĂ©crite sous le protonyme Lychas srilankensis par Henderson, 1919. Elle est placĂ©e dans le genre Janalychas par KovaĹ™Ăk en 2019[4].
