Helminthotheca
Helminthotheca est un genre de plantes à fleurs de la famille des Asteraceae, comprenant cinq espèces d'herbacées originaires d'Europe, d'Afrique du Nord et du Moyen-Orient, mais dont certaines ont été introduites en Amérique du Nord, en Afrique et en Australie.

Systématique
Ce genre est décrit en 1756 par le botaniste allemand Johann Gottfried Zinn, qui le baptise Helminthotheca[3].
Ce taxon porte en français le nom vernaculaire ou normalisé « Picride »[1].
