Distribution
Cette espèce est endémique du Cap-Oriental en Afrique du Sud[1] - [2]. Elle se rencontre vers Kentani
Étymologie
Cette espèce est nommée en l'honneur de H. P. Abernethy, qui a découvert l'holotype[3].
