Coupe d'Angleterre de football 2014-2015
La Coupe d'Angleterre 2014-2015 est la 134e édition de la FA Cup, la coupe principale dans le football anglais et la plus vieille compétition à élimination directe du monde[1]. Le sponsor principale reste à définir, le contrat liant la Fédération anglaise à Budweiser ayant expiré à la fin de la saison 2013-2014[2]. Cette édition est la première où les pelouses artificielles sont autorisées dans la compétition[3].

L'équipe défendant son titre est Arsenal, ayant battu Hull City à l'occasion de la dernière finale en date sur le score de 3-2[4].
Les demi-finales ont lieu à Wembley, comme depuis 2008, afin de rentabiliser le prix du stade, malgré les protestations de certains supporters [5]. Le stade accueille aussi la finale.

Qualifications
Toutes les équipes se trouvant dans les ligues inférieures à la Football League (4e division) doivent passer par les phases de qualifications pour accéder au premier tour. Les qualifications durent jusqu'à ce qu'ils n'y aient plus que 32 équipes en lice[8].
Tour extra-préliminaire
Les matchs du tour extra-préliminaire auront lieu le 16 août 2014, et les matchs à rejouer se feront le 21 août 2014. Les 368 clubs entrés en compétition lors de ce tour viennent des divisions 9 et 10 de la ligue anglaise[9].
