Trainspotters

Trainspotters est un groupe de hip-hop suĂ©dois, originaire d’UmeĂ„. FormĂ© en 2004, il est composĂ© de Rewind (aka Erk aka Eric Hörstedt) et de George Kaplan (aka KĂ€p aka Hannes Sigrell), au sein de leur propre collectif Random Bastards. Le collectif englobe diffĂ©rentes activitĂ©s comme la production de films de skateboard et de snowboard, l’organisation de concerts, la mise en place de tournĂ©es, la promotion d’artistes ou encore la production musicale sous forme de label[1].

Biographie

Depuis 2004, Trainspotters a jouĂ© au Danemark, en SuĂšde, en NorvĂšge, en Finlande, aux États-Unis, en Allemagne, aux Pays-Bas, en Espagne et en France[2].

Leur premier album, intitulĂ© Dirty North, produit par le producteur-compositeur Academics, est nommĂ© en 2011 au P3 Guld (Ă©quivalent suĂ©dois des Victoires de la musique) dans la catĂ©gorie « Album hip-hop / soul de l’annĂ©e »[1] - [3]. Leur deuxiĂšme album Bastards ! est disponible depuis le .

Le troisiĂšme album clĂŽturant le triptyque, Skate or Die est paru le [4] soit six ans aprĂšs la parution du premier opus Dirty North.
