Russell Trall
Russell Thacher Trall, né en 1812 et mort en 1877, est un écrivain américain. Passionné de santé naturelle, il a publié plusieurs ouvrages folkloriques sur les façons de conserver la santé et de guérir les maladies.
Biographie
Dans les années 1800, Russell Trall est un acteur majeur dans la promotion de l'hydrothérapie et de l'hygiénisme aux États-Unis. C'est aussi un fervent partisan du végétarisme. Il rejette les thérapeutes-droguistes, les médecins de l'époque. Ses efforts ont permis l'émergence de la future naturopathie[1].
Il serait le premier écrivain à écrire un livre de recettes véganes[2].
