Biographie

Il Ă©tudie le piano puis l'orgue mais reste autodidacte dans le domaine de la composition. Son Ɠuvre est proche de celles de Roger Sessions et de William Schuman, non descriptive et Ă  l'Ă©lĂ©ment rythmique prĂ©pondĂ©rant[1]. Creston est aussi un enseignant reconnu qui a formĂ©, entre autres, John Corigliano.
