Distribution

Cette espèce est endémique du département d'Amazonas en Colombie. Elle se rencontre vers Leticia[1].

Le mâle holotype mesure 1,70 mm et la femelle paratype 2,31 mm[1].

Cette espèce est nommée en l'honneur des Matapis[1].
