Biographie

Clifford Irving est surtout connu pour avoir réalisé une fausse autobiographie, non traduite en français, d’Howard Hughes[1]. Le récit de cette supercherie est narré dans le film Faussaire, mais il y est aussi fait allusion dans le film F For Fake (1974) d'Orson Welles dans lequel apparaît Clifford Irving.

Mort

Clifford Irving est mort d'un cancer du pancréas le dans une maison de soins palliatifs près de sa résidence à Sarasota en Floride[2].
