UNIV
L’UNIV est une rencontre universitaire que l’Information Communication University organise depuis 1968. Chaque année, plusieurs milliers d’étudiants passent la Semaine sainte à Rome et ont ainsi l’occasion de connaître la richesse culturelle, historique et spirituelle de cette ville[1].
Tout au long de la semaine, des rencontres culturelles, congrès, conférences, expositions et concerts offrent aux participants l’occasion d’approfondir certaines thématiques spécifiques du monde universitaire, qui mettent en particulier l’accent sur l’esprit de service envers les plus pauvres.
Les premières rencontres de l’UNIV furent organisées sous l’impulsion et à l’initiative de saint Josémaria[2], fondateur de Opus Dei. Durant quatre décennies, des dizaines de milliers d’étudiants et d’universitaires ont pu élargir leurs horizons culturels dans le climat d’universalité du centre du monde chrétien, grâce aux audiences spéciales concédées aux participants de l’UNIV par Paul VI, Jean-Paul II et Benoît XVI[3].
