Tethya
Les Tethya forment un genre d'éponges démosponges de la famille des Tethyidae. Les espèces de ce genre ont une symétrie sphérique, ce qui est exceptionnel chez les éponges qui, en général, n'ont pas de symétrie particulière[1].
