La Supercoupe arabe de football 1998 est la 5e édition de la Supercoupe arabe de football, qui se déroule du 1er au à Tunis[1]. L'équipe égyptienne d'Al Ahly remporte le trophée pour la deuxième fois de son histoire.

Les équipes participants reçoivent 90 000 dollars, le champion remportant par ailleurs 50 000 dollars, le vice-champion 25 000 dollars, le troisième 15 000 dollars et le quatrième 10 000 dollars[6].
