In the Groove
In the Groove (abrégé ITG) est le premier jeu de la série In The Groove, publié et développé par RoXoR Games, basé sur StepMania un simulateur de jeu de dance, ITG est un clone de DDR mais apporte quelques nouveautés.

En 2006, Roxor a cédé ses droits sur ITG à Konami (éditeur de DDR) afin de clore un procès pour plagiat.
Système de jeu
In The Groove se joue comme DDR : des flèches défilent sur l'écran et il faut les valider d'une pression sur le tapis de danse.
Nouveautés de ITG
- Les Mains (Hands) plus de flèches apparaissent à l'écran (3 ou 4) il faut utiliser les mains pour les valider (à moins d'avoir de grands pieds)
- Les Roulements (Rolls) comme les freeze mis Ă part qu'il faut taper continuellement (Apparu dans ITG2)
- Les Mines (Mines) il ne faut surtout pas appuyer dessus (ou avoir le pied sur le capteur quand elle passent)
DĂ©tails Techniques
La Borne ITG est en réalité un PC Complet tournant sous le système Debian, de ce fait la borne est souvent trafiquée (pour rajouter des chansons, changer le thème ou jouer gratuitement) le jeu est basé sur Stepmania qui est open source et donc facilement modifiable, il en va de même pour la version PS2 (une version pirate est disponible sur le net avec de nouvelles chansons...), le site BoXoRRoXoR est spécialisé dans ce type de modifications.
