Nickerie est un des dix districts du Suriname. Sa capitale est la ville de Nieuw Nickerie.

Le district est divisé en cinq municipalités (en néerlandais : ressorten) :
- Groot Henar ;
- Nieuw Nickerie ;

- Wageningen ;
