The Institute for Genomic Research

The Institute for Genomic Research (TIGR) est un institut de recherche regroupant de nombreuses organisations de recherche en génomique, fondé en 1992.

En octobre 2006, le TIGR a été fusionné avec d'autres organisations pour former le J. Craig Venter Institute (JCVI) :

• The Center for the Advancement of Genomics (TCAG)
• The J. Craig Venter Science Foundation
• The Joint Technology Center
• the Institute for Biological Energy Alternatives (IBEA)
