The Fleetwoods
The Fleetwoods est un trio de chanteurs américain de doo-wop formé en 1958 à Olympia, dans l'État de Washington, par Gretchen Christopher, Barbara Ellis et Gary Troxel. Les trois amis de lycée se produisent d'abord sous le nom de Two Girls and a Guy avant d'adopter le nom de Fleetwoods[1]. Le trio connaît rapidement un grand succès, avec notamment deux 45 tours no 1 des ventes aux États-Unis en 1959 : Come Softly to Me et Mr. Blue. Le trio se sépare en 1965, avec plusieurs réunions ponctuelles par la suite.
