Pontifex romanus (1511)
La Bulle pontificale Pontifex romanus fulminĂ©e le 8 aoĂ»t par Jules II crĂ©e les trois Ă©vĂȘchĂ©s de Santo-Domingo, de la Vega Ă Hispaniola et de San Juan de Porto Rico, premiers Ă©vĂȘchĂ©s dâAmĂ©rique[1].
Ces diocĂšses remplaçaient la premiĂšre province ecclĂ©siastique, Hispaniola, Ă©rigĂ©e en 1504 par la bulle Illius fulciti du mĂȘme pape[2].
