Alice Comyns Carr
Alice Vansittart Comyns Carr, née Strettell en 1850 à Taplow et morte en 1927, est une costumière britannique dont le travail est associé au mouvement esthétique.

Biographie
Comyns Carr est née en 1850 à Taplow[1]. Fille de Laura Vansittart Neale et du révérend Alfred Baker Strettell, elle est la sœur de Alma Strettell (en) (1853-1939)[2].
En 1873 elle épouse J. Comyns Carr[1] - [2]. Ils ont trois enfants : Philip, Dorothy et Arthur (en), qui est député[3].
Elle est morte en 1927[1].
